Vlog #2: The Realm of Social Media

Surfing the net and connecting with other people online is not always a world full of butterflies and rainbows. Sometimes, it can get pretty rough. Well, that's the reality of Social Media for you. 

Just like a coin, Social Media has two sides! Embark on a journey with me and watch this video to learn more about navigating the realm of Social Media. 

At the end of the vlog, I enumerated my personal commitment statements regarding the responsible use of social media. These statements are the following:

1) To not judge people based on assumptions presented online

2) To only use social media in a meaningful way

3) To never post misleading or false information (especially with no credible supporting sources)

It Girl in IT

I knew from the moment I started exploring Facebook in 1 st grade that social media would be something I’d take an interest in.
